Care Certificate

Learning outcomes

The Care Certificate is a set of 15 standards that demonstrate the knowledge, behaviours and the skills that are required and expected for individuals working in the health and social care sector. The standards should form part of a robust induction programme especially if the learner is new to care. 

We have developed a step by step process that enables all learning, observations, assessments and tests to be held in one place which is easily accessible by both learner, assessor and Manager. Combined with more traditional learning and induction standards the care certificate ensures every individual hits the ground running and is positioned to succeed in the care sector.

The Care Certificate was developed by Skills for Health, Skills for Care and Health Education England and the learning materials are freely available on their websites. We welcome you to our supported learning page where we aim to walk you through the learning and testing of each of the 15 Standards and ensure all aspects of your Care Certificate are saved and stored safely for future use and demonstration.
